Last November, Catholic High, with the help of so many passionate donors, completed the installation of this beautiful new field turf. Last night, KCHS honored those who made the installation of the infield turf possible and to dedicate this park. From this night forward, Irish Baseball's home will be known as Diamond Park to honor our lead donors, the Hollin Family. Tony, Kim and their two sons, Beau and Major, who each graduated from Catholic High and played baseball, have made this project possible. Tony is the CEO and founder of Ed Financial Services and the Owner of H3 Sports and Diamond Baseball Academy here in Knoxville – hence the name, Diamond Park. We would also like to recognize some other key donors whose support helped make this project possible, Rocky and MaryAnn Smith, Steve and Kim Turner, Steve and Kathy Walker, Dan Fleming, George Rainwater, Dr. Alan Pinkard, Fr. Chris Michelson, and our Baseball parents and booster club.
Beau '16 and Major '20 Hollin threw out the first pitch as the Fighting Irish won big over a previously unbeaten Greeneville team 6-2. Go Irish!
